As a result of our outstanding performance providing all site planning and construction for the California Wildfire Disaster Recovery prior to this project RELYANT was awarded a $6.9M Cost-Plus Fixed Fee follow on contract for the site planning and civil works for the Hegan and Aztec Group Sites. This project was also in response to the 2018 California wildfire widely referred to as the ‘Camp Fire’ and met the ultimate goal of quickly providing suitable housing for survivor families. RELYANT successfully completed time-critical planning and construction of two separate group sites which allowed for the installation of a total of 83 manufactured housing units delivered by FEMA’s LogHOUSE contractor. During execution of this rapid response project, RELYANT performed surveys, incidental design, planning, rough grading, construction of pads, and installed portable water service, sewer, and electrical power.
