MMR & Environmental Services

Reducing threats caused by hazardous munitions stockpiles (HMS), explosive remnants of war (ERW), unexploded ordnance (UXO), landmines and improvised explosive devices (IED) is the foundation for RELYANT’s Munitions Response capability. We provide proven solutions, even in complex environments, all over the world. Our ordnance database, which is unique to RELYANT, lists identification and safety precautions for over 6,000 worldwide munitions. RELYANT provides Weapons Removal and Abatement services for the risk assessment and clearance of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC), Ordnance and Explosive Waste (OEW), Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) and landmines. RELYANT is a member of the National Association of Ordnance Contractors (NAOC) in the USA and an accredited Mine Action Organization by the United National Office of Project Services (UNOPS) Mine Action Unit (MAU) in NYC.

MMR & Environmental Services

Our Munitions Response Program is staffed by international and host nation Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technical experts and former military combat engineers; all who are qualified to US Army Corps of Engineers standards, US Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board (DDESB) Technical Paper 18, or the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS). We provide highly trained and experienced subject matter experts (SMEs), to perform duties as a “turn-key” approach to resolving the client’s challenges and addressing their needs 24/7. Our personnel are recruited and vetted from an extensive worldwide database of SMEs who have extensive skills that apply to the clients’ and stakeholders’ objectives. By deploying SMEs with diverse expertise such as project management, administrative and logistical resourcefulness, technical adept at risk assessment, survey, clearance, EOD and reporting we greatly reduce the cost and compress schedules.

RELYANT has invested heavily in processes and procedures to develop and sustain a Munitions Response Program capable of quickly analyzing the technical and regulatory requirements of the work to be performed. We determine the goals and objectives of each project scope; develop a risk management plan for known and unknown contingencies; produce an accident prevention and site safety plan to address mitigation actions of all hazards; and a quality assurance program to ensure compliance with the project standards. Our risk management and project management professionals maintain control of scope, schedule, and cost throughout the life cycle of the project from receipt of the solicitation to the close out and turnover of deliverables.

RELYANT has the personnel, equipment, and materials for mobilizing and sustaining safe and efficient projects in any country in the world. We are experienced and proficient in performing task orders in austere locations to include active and post conflict zones. We lean forward when others exit the operational zones. We rapidly mobilize all engineers, explosives specialists, equipment, machinery, and canine search teams anywhere in the world to search for, locate and safely dispose of unexploded ordnance that threatens local communities and developing countries’ infrastructure development. Our people are well trained and prepared for contingency operations in the most difficult locations. They possess current travel documents, medical readiness, and security awareness to move forward with the client or in front of the client.
