RELYANT completed the $690k, 9,500 SF design-build of a dining facility at Camp Brown. The facility is pre-engineered and work included demolition, site preparation, concrete construction, metal construction, architectural works, mechanical works, electrical works, communications, and fire protection/safety. The facility was constructed of high grade, cold-formed steel manufactured by a FRAMECAD FrameMaster machine. The exterior walls, roof covering, gutters, and downspouts were of metal design. Our team demolished the existing concrete works in the footprint of the new facility and removed demolished materials from the installation (disposing the materials in accordance with local regulations). We removed unsuitable foundation material from the footprint of the building, and foundation subgrade and base material were compacted to 95% of the maximum density. We also performed all mechanical aspects of this contract in house, including the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system with ducting, water supply system, wastewater sewage system, and plumbing.
