RELYANT performed this $15.1M Design-Build of an approximately 23,680 SF low-rise and high-bay composite facility with four separate components: A Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Shop, a GSE Holding Shed, an Aviation Armament Shop, and an Aviation Life Support Systems Shop. The facility and all site features were constructed using USGBC LEED GBDC, to achieve LEED Silver. RELYANT installed all electrical utilities including primary and secondary power, lighting, telecommunications, intercommunications/ public address, grounding, exterior area lighting, and electrical pad-mounted transformers. Work also included installing information systems including basic telephones, computer networks, fiber optic cables, cable television, security systems, fire alarm/detection/mass notification systems, and infrastructure. Other systems installed include HVAC, exhaust systems, latrines, electronic security systems including access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and closed-circuit television systems. In addition, RELYANT procured all necessary furniture, fixtures, and equipment. RELYANT also provided built-in equipment including a bridge crane, built-in vehicle lifts, prefabricated paint and blast booths with industrial ventilation, dust collection systems and oil-water separators, a monorail crane, and a radon mitigation system.
