RELYANT was tasked with building and delivering 15 Troop Carrier Puma M36 Mk5 Mine Protected Vehicles, and spare parts packages to the Peace Mission Training Centers in Senegal and Niger. Additionally, RELYANT conducted subsequent M36 Mk5 maintenance and warehousing training. This effort ensured partner countries’ self-sufficient peace operations training capacity and increased the operational readiness, effectiveness, and sustainment capabilities, which including strengthening their organizational capacity and agility, enhancing combat and United Nations (UN)-specific peacekeeping capabilities, and improving interoperability with multinational peacekeeping military forces.
