Fort McCoy is a training site of choice for the U.S. Department of Defense. To expand safe training area availability for military training, Fort McCoy requires UXO clearance of ranges for land use. Through this $12.8M SATOC in support of the Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort McCoy, RELYANT provided all surface and sub-surface UXO clearance services. These services included EOD, range scrap and residue inspection, certification, removal, and disposal in accordance with applicable DoD, DA, and Fort McCoy guidance. Using a “mag and dig” clearance approach, RELYANT provided clearance and survey for ongoing construction projects at Fort McCoy, including boring hole exploration for the construction of new structures.
